Leah Pritchett (Top Fuel driver) loses ride

Just two weeks ago at  NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, Leah was up against top fuel driver, Antron Brown when she lost by a tick of the electronic timer going 311 mph. It seemed as it became her last race. 27 year old top fuel driver, Leah Pritchett's career comes to a hault as she loses her ride due to Bob Vandergriff Racing closing their doors. The death of chairman and CEO of C&J Energy Services, Josh Comstock who passed in March was the team supporter for Pritchett. The speedster will not give up on getting another sponsor but in the meantime she won't be on the track. If and when she does make a comeback it may be with Don Schumacher Racing. Don has been talking about adding a fourth team to his top fuel collection and might just be interested in taking Leah in. Her sponsorship would then be with Quaker State.
